Career History

Working as a Saw Filer at various locations on Vancouver Island since 2014.  Including Lumber mills and saw sharpening shops. Specializing in contractor and cabinetmaker quality circular blades, and others in industrial size band saws.

University certifications include:
- Saw Filer, Level 1 Fitter
- Saw Filer, Level 2 Circular Saw Filer
- Saw Filer, Level 3 Benchperson

As of July 2021, Shane has surpassed 10,000 hours in industrial saw filing and sharpening environments.

Sharper than new! I recently had a batch of circular saw blades sharpened and i have to say they really are better than new. I've used one combination blade to rip over 1000 linear feet of birch plywood and it's still sharp cutting like a new blade keeping it's edge way longer than previously.
